Dear Music Patron,
The Aria Club of Greater Washington is now entering its
19th year of operation in bringing the joy of opera and
classical music to the Washington DC community.

In 2013, Aria Club entered community partnership with
WiIson High School . This partnership is in collaboration
with the Music Department. We offer opera orientation and present opera performances as an activity to students and interested faculty. This partnership has been named “OPERAtunities”.

While professional artists will continue to perform
major roles, talented students will be introduced to
opera and will be given the opportunity to be choristers, supernumeraries and in some instances be selected for
"comprimario" or small roles.

To help him on his quest, three ladies give him a magic flute that will charm both animals and humans. With the help of the flute and his jovial companion, Papageno, Prince Tamino overcomes trials of Silence, Patience, and Courage and wins Pamina's hand in marriage.
